Top Grade Unheated Tanzanite Crystal Specimen - 36 grams
Masterpiece Trichroic Tanzanite Crystal
This tanzanite comes with a certificate
This is a phenomenal, world-class specimen that showcases the absolute peak of tanzanite color saturation. It features an exceptionally wide, robust crystal habit with massive presence. The sheer volume of top tier, electric color moving through this piece makes it an undeniable centerpiece for any high end mineral collection.
Color & Pleochroism: Absolute top tier. This specimen explodes with deeply saturated royal blues and rich, vivid purples. Most impressively, it boasts a rare, highly coveted ruby fire red across the C axis, offering the ultimate textbook display of intense trichroism when the light catches it.
Luster: 10/10. True glass grade luster. The expansive crystal faces feature a brilliant, liquid like mirror shine that beautifully highlights its clean, natural geometric lines.
Clarity: Excellent internal transparency that allows light to flood the crystal, fully illuminating the immense depth and intensity of the blue and purple saturation.
Termination: A beautiful, fully formed crown termination with strong, distinct architecture that remains completely intact.
When you get this level of intense, top tier color saturation paired with a firing red C axis and maxed out luster, you're looking at an elite grade piece. A truly massive, powerhouse crystal that is bound to stand out in any display.
We have 3 videos to show the crystal. The first is 100% natural light, the second is with an LED screen to show pleochroism, and the third is with a flashlight to show the reds. Deep reds can be seen with almost no light but with sunlight the crystal goes crazy with reds!
This Tanzanite has been cleaned, stabilized, and sealed by a specialist lab in Italy, with any light chips or fractures secured for durability. This kind of conservation is standard practice for fine mineral specimens and is widely used across the industry, including on pieces held in serious private and museum collections. It’s an accepted, expected part of caring for high end crystals, not a repair or alteration of the stone itself. Natural color, unheated, and cared for the way a fine specimen should be
When it comes to sourcing Tanzanite, buying straight from the source country isn't what it seems. Standard retail prices in Tanzania are heavily inflated for tourists, and the authentic wholesale market is locked away behind the walls of Merelani. It is a world completely inaccessible to the general public, requiring strict paperwork, lengthy wait times, and direct clearance from mine owners. We hold direct investments in a few of these mines and have great relationships with the mine owners themselves. While 99.9% of dealers are forced to deal with city brokers and middle-men, we go straight to the actual source, allowing us to offer prices that are routinely half or more of what you will see at major gem shows or found online.
We are able to pass these incredible savings directly to you by keeping our business incredibly lean. We choose not to exhibit at expensive gem shows, and our operation is strictly family-run with zero outside employees. This means our overhead costs are virtually nonexistent. By eliminating the middle-man, wiping out unnecessary administrative expenses, and intentionally keeping our profit margins lower than the industry standard, we ensure that your capital goes entirely into the raw value and beauty of the crystal itself.

In most cases, we request payment is completed within 3-4 months, with additional time consideration for larger purchases.
